Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
Deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing cloud-based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of production systems.
Build, release, and configuration management of production systems.
Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of products / services.
System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.
Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
Ensuring critical system security using best-in-class cloud security solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
DevOps: Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer, including automation experience with configuration management tools.
Container Orchestration: Experience with Docker containers , Openstack and basic Kubernetes Service
Scripting Skills: Strong in Python, Ansible, Bash and automation skills.
Operating Systems: REDHAT OS System administration skills
Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools
Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
Desired Skills (Not essential but beneficial to have):
Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile software development, project management methodologies.
Version Control: Experience administrating version control systems such as SVN.
Networking: Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).
Other basic Candidate Requirements:
Professional commitment to high quality, and a passion for learning new skills.
Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills, including providing simple solutions to complex situations.
Must be a strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a geographically dispersed working environment.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Able to handle multiple tasks and work in a high-pressure environment.
Proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Education : B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech /MCA in Computer Science / any 16 + yrs of education
