Three types of professionals will likely be encountered as we search for Nokia and Ericsson eNodeB scripting tool developers. 1.Integration Engineer An integration engineer creates integration scripts by inputting some cell site specific information into an existing software tool that generates the configuration management script. The person can upload and run the script on a Nokia or Ericsson software platform to configure the eNodeB. The person knows the command line interface language, such as amos, to check status and configuration of eNodeB. 2.Optimization Engineer An optimization engineer reviews the performance of integrated cell sites and adjusts eNodeB parameters to improve performance. The person may use the command line interface to change individual parameters at a site or may use a Nokia or Ericsson software platform to make bulk updates to many sites. 3.Software Developer of Integration Tools The software developer creates the tools that allow users (integration engineers) to create scripts. The developer is aware of all the Nokia or Ericsson parameters that need to be configured and codes the clients parameter rules ( Gold Standard) into the tool. The developer will be familiar with the Nokia or Ericsson command line interface language and their Managed Object configuration models. The tool will output script files in command line interface language, such as amos, or in NETCONF .xml format. The tool itself may be written in any language. The developer will have experience with one or more programming language such as python or C++.
