Job Description
2nd Level Operations is responsible for the coordination, support, management and execution of 2nd Level proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.MS Broadcast Playout competence manages static or Live playout delivery, executing the MS Broadcast Playout MSTOP processes to ensure that services provided to our customers align to SLA performance levels and delivery expectations.
Responsibilities
Monitoring of the production system & ensuring its performance and stability
Action on issues reported by L1/monitoring teams. Coordination with L3/vendor team for restoration of any faults
Trouble Tickets resolution Resolve day to day customer issues
Coordination with IT/network teams to resolve any operational or functional issues
Responsible for answering adhoc requests from various teams
Analyze the Logs and try resolving the issues, escalate issues well in advance and suggest alternative approaches
Deploy CRs on production environments and ensure smooth system performance
Follow ITIL processes and exhibit expertise in Incident, Problem and change management
Ensure SLA compliance for application and trouble tickets
Proactive competence development of self in new solution areas & certifications
Provide an effective 360-degree feedback on the ailing elements in the current solution and co-ordinate with Design team/L3/ Vendor to fix them
7Interfaces
He/ She shall interface with Customer, Infra teams, L3 team and other application teams for quicker resolution of any system or subscriber issues
8Required education and experience
5+ year experience with hands on with Postilion switch (Realtime, reporting etc )
8.1Mandatory
Stanchion Payments application Knowledge (Postillion Payment components such as Realtime Transaction Manager).
Knowledge on Payment Workflows.
Core Java Basics.
Fluid Framework (Combination of JSF, hibernate and EJB) Basics.
Wildfly administration knowledge.
Apache Tomcat.
Web services.
SOAP UI tool knowledge for API Testing.
Unix Scripting and Cron job scheduling.
MS-SQL DB and Programming knowledge.
Package Deployment such jar/war file
Knowledge of Telecom domain.
Network connectivity and PORTS knowledge.
Window server's task schedulers knowledge.
Ticketing workflow.
Stakeholder's Management (Vendor and Dev Team interaction).
Strong learning and time management skills
Team player capable of working independently
Good communication skills
Should be willing to work in 24*7 environment
