Our client is a well established, technology-focused B2B loan marketplace and holds a patented technology solution for channel partners. They set out with the objective of making the entire loan process better and transparent with the help of technology and have seen a steady growth since their launch.
The Job
You will be responsible for :
- Providing operations support to the retail bank.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to continuously improve service levels.
- Providing operational support for the smooth implementation of new products and services.
- Working closely with risk and the internal audit teams to ensure that the necessary controls are in place.
- Ensuring operations are in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the daily operations for loans servicing by ensuring all requests are processed in a timely and accurate manner, in line with internal service standards.
- Reviewing credit documents and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure documentation is complete as per the internal policy and guidelines.
- Monitoring of credit limits and exposures.
- Ensuring collateral valuation, monitoring and reconciliation with original documents.
- Managing the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting.
- Driving accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing.
- Overseeing monthly closing and managing monthly reporting & analysis.
- Consolidation of group entities.
- Ensuring compliance with all legislative tax and financial reporting requirements.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Managing banking relationships, cash management and other treasury related activities.
- Ensuring compliance with INDIA GAAP.
- You have a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance.
- You have at least 1 year experience within a Loan/ Credit Ops/ Collateral Management or similar role, ideally within the IT Software industry.
- You have solid experience in a regional role ideally including experience covering India.
- You have strong knowledge of INDIA GAAP.
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
