Job Description

Required Qualifications/Skills:

1. Masters or Bachelors degree in Civil engineering or related fields
2. Candidate should have relevant work experience in the road construction industry (15+ years full-time). Candidate should have worked on leading road projects under NHAI/state PWD jurisdiction.
3. Candidate should have thorough knowledge about road construction materials such as bitumen, aggregates, concrete etc and about relevant codes (IRC, MoRTH, etc)
4. Candidate should have experience in liasioning with senior government officials (SE, CE, EnC, etc)
5. Candidate should have deep understanding about the practices of the road construction industry and functioning of government road bodies
6. Candidate should have demonstrated experience at a managerial level
7. Ideal candidate should be self-motivated, have good technical knowledge and have good communication/writing skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing technical literature for company products, Technical research and data compilation
2. Prepare and deliver technical presentations at various forums
3. Co-ordinate with various road depts such NHAI, PWD, RWDs, etc for existing and new products
4. Build partnerships in order to develop business in new geographical areas
5. Liaison with govt road construction bodies in order to launch new products
6. Provide on-site technical intervention wherever needed
7. Manage laboratory activities and obtaining certifications/accreditations for products
8. Prepare tender documents for new projects, solicit quotations, supplier for material
9. Build and manage a robust and dynamic technical team
