Roles and Responsibilities
Description:
- In depth knowledge and hands on experience with cloud devops service providers/solutions in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
- Deployment expected to take on adhoc requests to setup cloud resources or write code and quickly prototype and deploy for validations and should be familiar with Infra as a code, Python, working on Redhat OpenShift platform (their in-house choice of platform)
- Should be capable of working independently on a given task
- SDK/API development could be an added advantage as they plan to provide APIs on their stack for developers of 5G MEC applications
- Defining and executing on the technology migration strategy by engaging highly technical teams within AWS, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
- Proven track record of effective technical roles in complex migration and implementation projects
- Expertise in creating DevOps strategy in a various distribution of LINUX using DevOps tools suites like GIT, MAVEN, JENKINS, ANSIBLE (Playbooks), DOCKER, KUBERNETES, TERRAFORM in traditional environments, as well as cloud-pass environment like AWS, Design and Implementation of CI/CD parameterized pipeline for Application builds process
- Designed microservices and service fabric architecture on Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP using Docker & Kubernetes to scale out deploying each services independently creating instances of these services across servers / VMs / containers, helping to improve resource utilization, fault isolation.
- Knowledge or architecting cloud solutions in cloud and supporting application migrations to a cloud service provider.
- Experience evaluating existing application design and making recommendations for enhancing applications to leverage cloud technology and services
- Engaging with customer development, infrastructure, security, and IT operations teams and identifying repeatable patterns and architectures for cloud migration.
