Job Description
Candidate should have data centre migration experience along with some level of cloud experience .Network background 7-8 yrs experience / Later transition experience aligned to both (Application / Network) Assessment, Performance tuning etc.,
End user experience in application monitoring and performance tuning, Analysing the network traffic, bandwidth for the best app performance, network performance etc.
Deep experience in performance monitoring of application components / tools and deeper understanding of the on the performance of each component functionality to help understand where improvements can be made or problems eliminated. Traditional monitoring metrics like (CPU, Memory, Disk I/O, Network I/O, etc) to ensure better application and network performance.
Work experience and solutions / best practices on App Performance / Assessment tools such as APM, Wireshark etc.
Scripting Python preferable, for an automating the spontaneous changes on demand.
Good performance log analysis using any third party tools log analyzer wire shark, transaction based troubleshooting skills, RCA etc.,
Candidate should be experienced in monitoring distributed transactions for Cloud Applications and conducting service dependency analysis for performance issues and latency optimization.
Candidate should be experienced in Application Assessment, Data migration operations & Automation (Python)
Candidate should possess kubernetes, kafka, elasticsearch Cassandra & Jaeger tracing experience.
Candidate should have worked on some platforms like- VMWare | Amazon Web Services | Azure | IBM cloud | Google Cloud Platform
Proficient knowledge in the following key areas: Network Engineering (protocols, routers, switches, and gateway technologies), Application logical architecture, Infrastructure hardware.)
Demonstrated Expertise in Packet Capture techniques and tools, such as WireShark, Riverbed, or equivalent
Proficient in Data Analytics including monitoring, Data Science, Statistics, data modeling/normalization, and reporting.
Ability to utilize tools such as Riverbed SteelCentral, Smarts, Sniffers, NetCool, NASH, SolarWinds, SevOne, and Splunk to diagnose and resolve network and application issues
Ability to diagnose complex issues with incomplete information, connecting disparate information, and professional collaboration.
