A L2/L3 VMware-Horizon View is an advanced level position in our Operations team; he/she will be focused on Enterprise architecture and deployments of Windows/VMware Solutions in the following areas: Virtual Desktops (VDI), Server Consolidation and Applications Virtualization, Disaster Recovery (DR), Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Operational Readiness.
We will be offering a full-time permanent role to the engineers that constitute the best of breed that meet the requirements to pass the trial period.
This position is for a Senior Engineer Service Assurance, as a member of the original core team he/she will be enjoying excellent career advance opportunities. The candidate must fulfil the following Technical requirements:
a. Must have 4 years of proven experience with VMware Enterprise Products.
b. Must have VMware VCP Certification
c. Good working & troubleshooting skills of VMware Horizon View versions.(Must to have)
d. Good working & troubleshooting skills of VMware ESX & ESXi & vSphere versions.
e. Good working & troubleshooting skills of VMware Airwatch & Mirage versions. (Optional)
f. Good understanding and troubleshooting user level issues
g. Good understanding & troubleshooting skills on Windows Server 2008/2012 Administration and troubleshooting Skills (Active Directory, Group Policy and SCCM etc.)
h. Participation on Major/Severity incidents for resolution and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for the Major incidents
i. Excellent Knowledge on x86 Servers with one or more of the following vendors: IBM, Dell Chassis & Rack mount servers, HP Chassis & Rack mount, Cisco UCS, etc.
j. Hands on experience in Azure on IAAS. like vNET, Subnet, Load balancer, NSG, Storage, VM's, Active Directory , VPN etc.
k. Knowledge on LINUX servers administration and services.
l. Knowledge & troubleshooting skills on Storage Technologies Experience: RAIDs, Fiber Channel and iSCSI with one of the following vendors: EMC, Netapp, Equal logic, HP EVA/Left hand.
m. ITIL Certification / trained
n. Need to work on 24 x 7 availability with rotational shift.
