Due to expanding workload in the United Kingdom and the Middle East, we have an excellent career development opportunity for an enthusiastic civil engineer to join our Wet utilities design team in our Global Design Centre in Bangalore/Gurgaon, India. Requirements
Candidates should have a clear and demonstrable technical understanding of drainage infrastructure and related issues, including;
B.E / B. Tech or M.E / M. Tech Civil Engineering degree from a recognized University.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in the water & wastewater and highway drainage consultancy industry.
Experience in using hydraulic modelling software Micro drainage, Sewer CAD, StormCAD, InfoWorks, and Civil3D etc.
Network Modelling, analysis and design of drainage network system.
Responsible for all aspects of the drainage design conforming to required standards.
Co-ordination with multidiscipline.
Manage the workloads for a drainage team (Junior Engineers/CAD Technicians).
Produce project design drawings from concept to the tender stage.
Produce Technical Specifications for drainage infrastructure projects.
Preparation of project design reports.
Pumping station, drainage network design and planning.
Excellent communication skills and be fluent in English (written and aural).
A member (or working towards membership) of a relevant engineering institution i.e. ICE/CIWEM
The ability to develop innovative solutions to engineering problems.
Knowledge and experience of international design codes would be an added advantage.
Responding to client directions in a receptive and customer focused manner maintaining technical quality standards
