Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for an exceptional hands-on Machine Learning Engineer with a proven track record of applying high degree of scientific rigor and real-world pragmatism in all his work. Promote deep scientific expertise, constant learning attention to detail, humble, and open to challenging any assumptions.
Experience articulating and translating business questions and using statistical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data. Demonstrated leadership and self-direction. Willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques.
Demonstrated skills in selecting the right tools given a data analysis problem. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Build and Prototype analysis pipelines iteratively to provide insight at scale. Work with large, complex data sets, solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed. Conduct analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specifications, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and Presentations.
Candidate must have ability to work in a team environment; provide constructive alternatives/ approaches to solving issues; be flexible; have a strong sense of urgency for critical tasks; and must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing schedule and communicating processes.
Position requires a proactive, self-starting, independent, flexible individual with ability to be productive with little supervision
Translate high-level requirements into designs and analysis architecture/pipelines. Lead machine learning development efforts from model selection and development, to training and labelling pipeline implementation. Assist other departments in carrying out large scale data analysis, when necessary. Providing accurate time estimates for design and development
Basic Qualifications:
1. PhD/MTech/BE/ BTech/MSc in CS or Math, Operation research, Statistics, Econometrics or in any quantitative field
2. 3 to 8 + years of industrial experience in analytics, predictive modeling, Machine learning, NLP, predictive analytics solution development and deployment
3. Strong Problem-solving ability
4. Experience in deep/machine learning using one of the well-known APIs such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe etc.
5. Experience building ML models for different use cases. Software Engineering experience building production ML models with one or more of the following: TensorFlow, MXNET, Spark ML, Scikit Learn, etc.
6. Experience with databases, schema design, and data processing technologies such as: Hadoop, Spark, etc.
7. Proficiency in one or more SQL database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.
8. Identify business and technical requirements, conduct full technical discovery
