Desired Candidate Profile
The Director of IT Infrastructure is responsible for planning designing and implementing organization wide information systems and technologies. Other responsibilities include application of new information system technologies to support the goals of managing and operating the organization.- Strong knowledge of popular Azure PaaS components like Web App and Web API, BLOB, Key Vaults
- Create Azure cloud solutions to specific client needs and demonstrate viability various solutions in terms of cost, benefits and ease of use
- Strong experience with cloud services (Azure) - hands-on track-record architecting and/or developing scalable internet-based service and platforms in utilizing cloud platforms
- Azure network experience, VPN and Express route, Azure DNS, Traffic Manager, and Load Balancers
- Strong expertise on Azure Worker Role, App Services, Web Jobs, Scheduler, Service Bus, IDAM, Logic Apps, Event Hub, Stream Analytics and Power BI
- Active Engagement with other developers and users and clarify questions related to Software as a Service, Multi Tenancy, Microsoft Azure Platform & .Net
- Azure Storage and Backup Experience
- Web development understanding with C#, .Net, MVC.Net 4.0/5.0+, JQuery, AngularJS and bootstrap
- Excellent knowledge of Azure IaaS, SasS and PaaS
- Work with clients to design their cloud environment with focus on Azure, AWS, IBM, and Google.
- Experienced with Azure SQL, Azure Automation, and Azure Resource Manager
- Provide long-term vision and strategy for the IT Service Management functions.
- Direct the vision and configuration of the IT Service Management toolbox and steer its catalog and processes.
- In depth technical experience in application architecture/enterprise architecture and systems integration with SaaS/IaaS/PaaS cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of data center operating systems platforms: Microsoft Server (2003, 2008, 2012)
- Configure and optimize the virtual infrastructure Working with change tools to maintain client SAAS Monitor virtualization infrastructure and provide advice on capacity requirements.
- Consult with software and hardware vendors to identify and define equipment needs.
- Review reports and IT equipment performance, malfunctions and maintenance to ascertain costs and plan operating changes.
- Maintain and enforce the Change Management process and adhering to the defined policies and standards.
- Oversee compliance operations as it relates to ITSM services
- Define and ensure the disciplined implementation/operation of Change Management and Asset Management processes.
- Manage the Cloud and Compute Infrastructure Project Portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of current and emerging infrastructure technologies, including cloud-based e-mail and storage, virtualization technology such as VMWare, network systems, SAP operations, Linux, AIX and Windows operating systems, VoIP technology, etc.
- Thorough knowledge of Cisco and all its environments (e.g. Firewalls, routing, switching, etc.)
- Strong Agile project management experience.
- Deep knowledge of ITIL best practices
- Deep knowledge of security best practices and trends throughout the industry.
- Reviews and evaluates project plans and objectives.
- Communicates progress to top management and modifies schedules as required.
- Negotiates with clients and outside vendors as required.
- Experience in VMware with VDI, HA, VDRS, VMotion technologies with windows servers working experience.
- Installs new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage.
- Recommends changes to the infrastructure consistent with achieving broad objectives.
- 12-15 years of work experience in Information Technology or computing environments preferably in a life science field
- 7 years of managerial/leadership experience
- Strong experience with Problem Management and Service Availability Management
- Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with ability to articulate complex emergent situations clearly and plainly
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices, Regulatory compliance controls, SOC2 Type 2 and Customer audits
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as established frameworks [e.g. GDPR, COBIT or ITIL]
- Negotiation and contracting skills
- Experience working with offshore service providers
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Azure Architect Certifications preferred

UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, Computers
