Designation : Scrum Master/Process Manager
Reports To:TheProcess Managerwill report to the CEO or VP of Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with leadership and business unit heads to execute the business strategic priorities
- Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, review, retrospective and other end to end process-based ceremonies
- Remove project impediments that boost team efficiency and performance
- Act as a change agent that increases the efficiency of the team
- Strive to build autonomous, cross functional, self-organized and high performing teams
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
- Help teams understanding and practicing agility
- Manage platform programs from inception through final delivery and if needed during support
- Practical knowledge and experience in applying other agile frameworks
- Facilitate processes with Product Owner to ensure that goals, scope and product domain are understood by everyone in the team and assist with product backlog management to maximize value
- Formulating techniques for effective Product Backlog Management
- Makes sure that goals, scope and product domain etc. are understood by every member in the Scrum Team accurately
- Helps the delivery managers understand the need for clear and concise product backlog items
- Ensures that the product owner is clear on how to arrange the product backlog to yield improved value
- Contribute to the business group meetings and follow up on action items. Develop content for periodic and ad hoc updates for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage program risks proactively, help teams identify project risks and coordinate internal cross-functional discussions to address risks before they become issues
- Determine, plan and implement procedures /processes for the project keeping in mind the strategic goals of the organization
- Processes implementation and control for Managing Risks/ Issues, Change Management, Project/program planning dependency management, documentation control and reporting procedures
- Set direction and influence cross-department engagement for program execution and drive synchronization across multiple project teams
- Drive data-driven decision-making, including actively guiding scoping and prioritization decisions on key programs/projects
- Drive operating discipline by leveraging processes, key cadences and active goal setting
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in the industry, with 5+ years of experience managing and delivering programs
- Prior working experience as a Scrum Master or PMO
- Proven interpersonal skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional teams to deliver program goals
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong presentation and influence skills
- Strong sense of program ownership and awareness, with ability to navigate stakeholder sensitivities
- Strategic acumen, with proven ability to anticipate-and-tackle
- Passion for driving systematic improvements to enable the organization to scale
- Expertise in Product Life Cycle (PLC) and Product Development & Release (PDR) methodologies
- BS / BE in CS or Electronics or higher, with exposure to technical fields
- Work collaboratively across geographies and functions
- PMP/Scrum Master certification preferred but not required
- Experience in using agile tools, such as Azure, Jira, SharePoint, etc.
- Proven experience in using agile and lean principles to support the team in achieving successful delivery and delighting customers
- Working experience with customers and teams globally is strongly preferred
