Qualifications and Experience:
Technical Requirements
- Experience in Cloud Virtual Network, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, Cloud
Interconnect, Cloud DNS, Network Service Tiers
- Experience in Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions
- Experience in Google Transfer Appliance and Google Storage Appliance.
- Experience in Google Tools and Management Services
- Experience working with scalable networking technologies such as Load
Balancers/Firewalls and web standards (REST APIs, web security mechanisms).
- Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker,
Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenStack, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Jenkins).
- Experience in one or more of the following: Python, Go, Perl, Ruby or shell scripting.
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration (e.g.,
filesystems, inodes, system calls) or networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, network
topologies and hardware, SDN).
- Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates and
key management.
Consulting Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant consulting, industry or technology experience
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communicator
- Willingness to travel up in case of project requirement
Preferred
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical field, or
equivalent practical experience.
Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed
systems.
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and
a sense of ownership and drive.
Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
Experience maintaining internet facing production-grade applications in virtualized
environments in Google Cloud Platform.
Experience writing scripts in one or more languages such as Python, Go and/or
similar.
Experience working with technical customers.
Google Certified Associate or Prefessional
Working knowledge of ITIL and/or agile methodologies.
