Job Description

8+ year Team lead for Railways vertical with 6+ years in Railways vertical.

Software Skills: Catia(Must), Pro e, Auto cad

Qualification - BE Mechanical

Design Knowledge:

Must be conversant with development of mig welding Fixture, Spot welding, Assembly fixture, Tackles, for various commodity of Coach Roof, Sidewall, under frame, end wall, Hvac assembly, Skin panel welding, F1,Respot fixture, Dummy bogie Bogie assembly. Ceiling assembly jigs, cable tray, carrier jig, Storage jigs and transfer jigs.

Robotic fixture design for above commodity will be added advantage.

Must be conversant with all commodity & assembly sequence and fixture planning, lay-outing etc. .

Rail coach maintenance workshops commoditys and lines.

Manipulators and indexers with automation.

Should have good manufacturing and process knowledge.

Roles and Responsibility:

Complete design from RFQ stage to detail engineering stage should be handled by the team.

Must have good communication skills to interact with customer.

Interact with customers and get design approvals for manufacturing projects.

Coordination with manufacturing team for release of projects to manufacturing.

Proper design validation process should be evolved with checklist and proper revision controls.

Will be responsible for all design deliverables both In terms of quality and time.

Involvement to give concepts for presales/ tenders.

Must be capable of handling a team size of 5-6 members.

Working should be aligned to projects deliverable as per Project management team schedules and guide line.

Should be willing to travel to customer place for design approval and concept approvals as and when needed.
