Responsibilities for field Cashier
- Troubleshoot and escalate issues with the cash register and other equipment
- Keeps the check out area clean and serviceable
- Maintain schedule for cashiers and ensure coverage during all shifts
- Train and oversee cashiers
- Understand product placement at the store to answer customer questions
- Ensure accurate drawer reconciliation at the end of each shift
- Serve as backup for any cashiers calling out
- Track cashier break schedules
Qualifications for field Cashier
- 3+ years previous experience as a cashier
- Ability to pass a background check
- Keen ability to multitask
- Must demonstrate a friendly and courteous attitude
- On-time with reliable transportation
- Willingness to train and mentor others
- Ability to frequently lift 15+ pounds
- Experience reconciling registers
- Superior customer service skills
