Job Description
Job discription-
1. Responsible for implementing strategies for effective collections and recovery of overdue payments from customers in stressed accounts (critical NPA) to maximize overall profitability.
2. Responsible for creating financial innovative solutions for stressed financial accounts to fill the asset-liability gap
3. Ensure formation and implementation of collection and recovery in financial business with focus on critical NPA cases by creating innovative financial solutions customised for the clients .
4. Manage the collection and recovery portfolio in identified accounts with focus on critical NPA cases
5. Facilitate loss claim recovery from the critical identified accounts .
6. Continuously monitor billing vs. collection status and ensure closure of critical NPA cases
7. Review all MIS reports on number of cases, current portfolio size, security deposition etc. of critical NPA cases and strategize collections and recovery based on the information
8. Undertake necessary actions in co-ordination with the legal department for cases that need to be restructured and for cases that can be recovered through legal intervention
9. Manage team through the establishment of goal setting and targets along with periodic reviews to achieve the objectives of the function
10. Ensure effective career and succession planning for all team members in the function
11. Ensure adequate training of team members to be able to handle market dynamics and meet the requirements of the customers
12. Provide guidance, counselling and feedback to subordinates on their performance to ensure a motivated and committed team
13. Facilitate repossession of assets in case of absolute failure to recover the loan
