Job Description
About the Role :
This is the senior developer role with below skills
- Solution architecture, proof of concept/prototype design, database design, and report testing.
- Responsible for data analysis and developing reporting specs, developing reports, and developing dashboards and writing complex SQL queries.
- Worked closely with business users to create reports/dashboards using Tableau desktop.
- Create Prompts, Calculated Fields, customize Calculations, Conditions and Filter (Local, Global) for various analytical reports and dashboards.
- Effectively used data blending, filters, actions, Hierarchies feature in Tableau.
- Experience working on parameter actions, set actions
- Experience on creating user groups, and scheduled instances for reports in Tableau.
- Ability to build medium to complex interactive dashboards using a different type of data sources in Tableau
- Worked on Level of detail expressions and Table Calculations.
- Good knowledge of RDBMS and SQL queries.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and implementation of Tableau dashboard visualizations and define required supporting data architecture (e.g. data marts, centralized data sources, ad hoc data sources) for internal clients
- Be able to tell a story with data that will allow our partners to visualize risk appropriately
- Manipulate and process large datasets using the analytical and reporting features of multiple tools
- Define requirements for and test data sources for reporting, and design metrics that measure control effectiveness, various risks, and KPIs
- Mentor team members to broaden the teams use of complex analytical and data visualization techniques
- Participate in cross-functional project teams and provide guidance and training to teams in asking appropriate questions, interpreting data, and translating into action
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
- 4 + years of Tableau Dashboard development experience
