Job Description
JOB SUMMARYThe Systems Engineer of the IT Infrastructure team is responsible for managing the Production, Test, Dev infrastructure environments that run the solution to its clients across the region. It is essential that the person must have strong experience in Database Administration for assisting Product Development and for managing Production instances, Windows Server administration and Networking. Must be a team player and is able to be flexible and stretch into other areas of responsibilities where needed. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manage Production, Test, and Development environments running iHRos solutions that consists of Database, Windows Servers and other technical components hosted at the multiple state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure facilities and data centers.
- Monitor production database instances and administer, maintain and troubleshoot issues including performance tuning and data archival.
- Assist Product Development and Support Engineers in creating, refining, performing tuning SQL and PL/SQL queries.
- Manage product releases and execute patch management.
- Manage vendors related tasks
- Provide end-user IT support as needed.
- Other IT Infrastructure related tasks.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in working as an Oracle Database Administrator
- 3+ years of experience in working with Windows Server and Networking environments
- Experience with cloud services (ideally Azure, IBM).
- Should have strong Experience in system hardening, analysis, and vulnerability management
- Relevant industry certificates from Oracle and Microsoft will be preferred
- Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
