Develop the overall marketing & market plan for the business segment on a short term and long term basis
Working with the sales department to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction.
Understanding and developing budgets and finance, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment, and profit-loss projections.
Frequently revisit the Marketing Strategy as per information through Market Research and ongoing performance in the Markets
Communication of marketing vision, strategy, and targets by supporting collaboration to reach business targets. Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share. Manage the departmental budget and ensure that all expenses are within the approved budget set at the beginning of the year
Monitor Sales and Marketing expenditure to ensure maximum return and value add to the KTL
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
Ensure regular interaction with channel partners and key customer segments to ensure market alignment of sales and marketing activities
Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitors' marketing movements (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features).
Plan and execute campaigns for corporate promotion, launching of new product lines, etc
