Job Description

About Roles and Responsibilities:

  • It will be owning the support of EBS Apps and databases in Banking Domain. This will include the Engineering, Build Deployment and on call support for Prod/ BCP and lower environments like UAT/SIT and DEV. Owns the responsibility of the delivery and availability of EBS Apps/ databases and be single point of contact for his assigned group of Apps/ databases.

  • Banking Domain knowledge - Good to have

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Primary responsibilities:

  • Expert in supporting Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.2 and above

  • Experience in installation of the EBS 12.2.x version and applying the 12.2.x consolidated patches using the ADOP

  • Support of Oracle database and Oracle E-Business on Exadata

  • Expertise in Oracle and Oracle E-Business suite patching

  • Strong knowledge and experience in E-Business Suite cloning

  • Expert in Oracle performance Tuning

  • Expert in database infrastructure, tools, methodologies, process, backup and recovery , disaster recovery

  • Expert in RAC, Data Guard, Golden Gate

  • Collaborate with application Team and US partners and run the efficiency programs

  • Generate IDEAS and Improvements- Process/Technical

  • Single point of Database technical contact for the channel of business he /she leads for.

  • Fine tune the database and the application batch programs in collaboration with application teams.

  • Test New features and document best practices

  • Experience in handling large TB databases

  • Hands on in production support environment

Essential Qualifications :

  • 12+ years of experience as Oracle Apps DBA

  • Expert in supporting Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.2 and above

  • Experience in installation of the EBS 12.2.x version and applying the 12.2.x consolidated patches using the ADOP

  • Support of Oracle Database and Oracle E-Business on Exadata

  • Strong knowledge and experience in E-Business Suite cloning

  • Expert in Oracle performance Tuning
