Job Description
This is to inform you that we have openings for Cloud Architect with our product based company for Bangalore Location.
Exp: 10- 14 yrs
10+ years in IT Infrastructure and Cloud domain with minimum of 3+ years in a solution architecture role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
Experience using Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and/or Power Platform to build solutions.
Experience with programming and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc. for process and workflow automation.
Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions based on industry standards using Azure - IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities.
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform and Azure cloud-native services.
Ability to drive the deployment of the customers workloads into Azure and provide guidance, cloud adoption model, service integrations, appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers and technical roadmaps for Azure cloud implementations.
Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating system environments, including installation, configuration, operation, and customization efforts.
Ability to quickly learn and shift in step with the latest cloud-computing, networking, and infrastructure management technologies.
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Process-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, etc.
Nice to have
oExperience with other cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc.
oExperience with infrastructure configuration management tools such as SaltStack, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
oExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, CSP-native containerization tools, etc.
oExcellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
oExperience working with infrastructure security tools/products such as Tenable, McAfee, Rapid7, etc.
oExperience with managing and customizing system monitoring tools including on-premises and cloud solutions
oExperience with deploying and managing IDS/IPS systems such as Zeek, Snort, etc.
oExpertise working with networking elements including routers, switches and firewalls across multiple product lines including Cisco and PaloAlto.
oBS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study.
oCloud certifications for Microsoft Azure.
oExperience planning, deploying and configuring automation for a cloud platform
oOther technical certifications from organizations such as AWS, Google, RedHat, etc.
oExperience working in on-call rotations.
Key Responsibilities
Actively be part of the Cloud team
Work together with a highly motivated team of engineers
Working with team in translating requirements / problems into technical /automation design that utilizes Azure and complementary technologies
Help design and deploy Azure IaaS and PaaS solution automation with known Azure technologies and services
Be instrumental in deployment and automation of various workloads to Azure using Azure PowerShell, ARM Templates, Azure Automation
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure Azure based solutions are appropriately engineered, tested, & deployed
Help streamline manual processes by introducing automation efforts
Be an escalation point to troubleshoot customer facing issues with other internal teams
Help with enhancing monitoring of systems, services to solve problems before they become problems for our customers
Help to analyze and monitor performance bottlenecks and key metrics and report to other teams
Help in providing analytics and forecasts for cloud capacity, troubleshooting analysis, and uptime
Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.
Maintain and monitor compliance to corporate security policies and standards.
Effectively lead cloud capacity planning and cost based analysis, estimations
Act as a subject-matter expert around Microsoft Azure and become a trusted advisor to multiple teams.
Coach and mentor engineers to raise the technical ability of the rest of the team, and/or to become certified in required Azure technical certifications.
Excellent communication skill required, both written and verbal.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help resolve technical issues with a sense of urgency.
