Position: Software Test lead
Job Description:
The QA Test lead is a senior position responsible for the Software Quality Assurance team, leading new and existing Quality Assurance initiatives, and will be instrumental in managing QA processes, driving test methods, risk analysis, resource planning and estimating for client projects. Extensive experience designing solution architectures for an enterprise software, service virtualization, or systems integration company. Working closely with sales and delivery team to win new business and deliver solutions. He/she should be expert in modern testing techniques and tools, including automation and exposure to non-functional testing.
Mandatory Skillset:
UI Automation Frameworks : Selenium, Appium, & Protractor
API Automation Frameworks : RestAssured, Swagger, Apache HTTP, SoupUI client
Programming / Scripting Language: Java, Java script, Python
Build Management Tools : Maven (Any Build Management tool)
CI CD CT : Jenkins (Any Continuous integration tool)
Cloud Environment : Experience in any one of the following.
AWS, Azure, Sauce Labs, Browser Stack
Test Executors : TestNG, Junit (or) any BDD
Other expectation : Knowledge on incorporating ML & AI into the automation testing.
Development Methodology: Agile SCRUM, TDD
Nice to Have:
Non-functional Testing : Performance (or) Security
Programming / Scripting Languages : C#, Node JS
Containers : Dockers, Packers, Lambdas
Exposure to DevOps.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and strategic directions for services and solutions involving, defining and building strategic solutions to testing problems.
People management.
Will have complete ownership for preparing test automation solution, designing automation frameworks and lead the implementation of test strategy, test plans & test execution of the product.
Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to strategize & align long term solution for test automation including roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
Working closely with sales and delivery team to provide solutions and win new business.
Create a standard framework for Functional Automation.
Identify key functional-validation points across the system context and define corresponding test approach and coverage
Identify non-functional validation needs, and define related test approaches
Expertise in API Automation
Expertise in logging, exception handling and custom reports development for automation testing
Expertise is setting up pipeline for CI, CD and CT using cloud solutions
Expertise with web performance infrastructure and cloud resources (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Experience in security testing, performance testing, performance tuning is a definite plus.
Knowledge in containers viz., dockers, lambda is an added advantage
Passion for achieving excellence in technical, process, product quality and reliability.
Strong in troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
Must be extremely detail and technology oriented and possess excellent communications skills.
Should have good knowledge on Application architecture, Build and Deployment process.
