Job Description

About the Role

Performs processing and releasing of Trade transactions. You will closely work with other team members and with the Line of Business.

Responsibilities

Responsible for processing and releasing new collections, payments, returned collections, trade acceptances, financing collections
Processing and releasing of documentary and direct collections in accordance with Trade Service standards.
Under minimal supervision, incumbent provides all L/C services to customers. These services include opening and amending L/Cs; processing payments; informing customers of problems or discrepancies; and inputting L/C information into computer system.
Fully competent in all functions, but depending upon organization structure, may perform some or all of these functions including releasing of transactions
Requires the ability to handle somewhat complex, non-standard and time sensitive L/Cs. Assists with distributing, reviewing work, training and guiding less experienced collection team members.

Essential Qualification

University Degree in Commerce, Business or related discipline
2-4 Years of Trade experience
Flexible to work in night shifts
Strong analytical skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skill
Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
