Role: TFS/ADO Admin
Notice Period: Immediate-20 days
Job description
- Providing administrative, operational and end-user support for DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps Server/TFS
- Source Control Management using Git based tools
- Build tools like MSBuild, Ant, Maven and Deployment pipelines
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) using tools such as Jenkins or equivalent
- Experience performing DevSecOps
- Reduce support request volume, fulfillment times, and escalations
- Perform RCA on incidents with goal of prevention of recurrence
- Install/Upgrade and configure software
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The Team Foundation Server (TFS) / ADO Admin would need to have 5+ years of experience. Responsible for configuring application builds and automated deployments using the TFS /ADO Build and Release features.
- Responsible for designing, documenting, implementing and maintaining scripts to enhance current build and release processes.
- Responsible for enhancing the existing TFS / ADO architecture, configuration, procedures and processes to provide a more robust, dependable and flexible system.
- Should have hands on experience on installation and configuration of TFS servers Should have experience in configuring TFS / ADO with Active Directory & rule-based access.
- Demonstrates expertise in customization of TFS Work Items Types, Process Templates, Build Scripts, Work Areas and Iterations. Analytical and customer service skills. Communicates accurate and useful status updates
- Experience with Visual Studio Online, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Git, Team Forge
- Ability to install, upgrade, configure and administer Microsoft Team Foundation Server
- PowerShell
- Build and Deployment Best Practices
- Expertise diagnosing/debugging TFS Administrator issues
- MS SQL report generation, manual and automated reports
- Possess good .Net, Microsoft SQL, and Java programming skills along with Power Shell scripting experience
- Possess solid software build, release and troubleshooting experience
- Possess excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Able to work in a team environment. Completes assigned tasks. Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
