About the Role
- Candidate should develop, directs, and assists in the preparation of moderately complex computer solutions in the creation and modification of new and currently used programs.
- Develops new programs of basic to moderate complexity.
- Performs modeling, simulations, and analysis. Prepares program test data, tests and debugs programs.
- Documents all procedures.
- Ability to understand the full process end to end, and suggest solutions in the process of the development activity.
- Should have experience in leading a small team and provide technical and functional assistance to team members.
- Experience in supporting closely working with multiple application teams across the enterprise
Responsibilities :
We are looking for an engineer with significant experience in building software solutions for business problems.
Responsibilities for this position will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Design, develop and test software engineering solutions to perform at scale
- Maintain reusable and reliable code and test coverage leveraging appropriate tools
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify application related bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
- Demonstrate understanding of Business Continuity Planning, quality, security and compliance requirements for supported areas
- Adhere to the coding standards and contribute to various aspects of application development such as robustness, scalability, simplification and automation
- Interact with multiple stakeholders across locations to achieve the desired goal
Essential Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in JAVA J2EE development on Enterprise Systems
- Hands-on in Springs, Spring Boot, Restful Webservices
- Hands-on in building UI components using React JS.
- Hands-on in SQL/PLSQL programming.
- Good knowledge on messaging technologies like JMS
- Good understanding of ORM, knowledge on Hibernate ORM is preferable
- Strong understanding of HTML and XML technologies
- Hands-on in Application servers like Tomact v8 and WebSphere
- Hands-on in code repositories like GIThub, Tortoise SVN
- Hands-on in developing Gradle, Maven scripts to build application binaries
- Must be hands in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment process, with usage of tools like Jenkins, Anthill, UCD
- Good knowledge on implementing workflow API programing
Desired Qualifications:
- Java/ J2EE, Spring Boot, JMS, RestFul services, Hibernate, Gradle and Maven
- BFSI domain background
