Job Description
Quantity Estimate materials for Cost Estimating purposes. This includes quantity plan reading, on-screen takeoffs, inputs into estimating software, performing estimates, training, scheduling, establishing goals and standardsPrepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements
Prepare Quantity Estimates from Architectural Drawings
Proficient Plan reading skills a must
Performs a key role in project planning, budgeting and identification of resources
Develop good relationship with international clients
Allocate appropriate tasks to your team members and manage it
Take responsibility and ownership of your team's projects
Willingness to learn new ideas and implement
Communicate ideas clearly and effectively
Desire to work in team oriented collaborate environment
B. E (Civil) with experience in Civil / Construction industry.
Excellent communications skills English and Tamil.
Sound Technical knowledge - Estimation.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent in Auto cadd MS office Suite.
Preparation of contracts, including details regarding quantities of required materials.
Responsible for On - going cost analysis for the new or re - work of the project.
Should be able to forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
Responsible for performing risk, value management and cost control.
Should be able to prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
Verification of measurements of completed work.
Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
Reporting all the activities to the GM.
