Job description
1. The overall aim of the Pharmacist should be to strive to achieve high customer satisfaction by servicing all the pharmaceutical needs of their customers in a friendly and efficient manner
2. Should issue drugs as quickly as possible to all customers
3. Should ensure that the drugs being issued match the drugs prescribed
4. Should counsel the customer on the dosage of drugs prescribed and on any other side-effects / precautions to be taken
5. To do stock-taking of items on a regular basis (refer to section on Inventory Valuation)
6. Should issue items in a first-in-first-out (FIFO) manner so that we minimize the chances of expiry
7. Should check all details between physical drugs issued and the bill generated i.e. Item Name, Quantity, Batch No.
