About the Role

The Risk and Finance CIO organization provides technology to several lines of businesses including Risk, Compliance, Finance, Audit and Legal with a combined technology spending in excess of $500+MM annually and is a 1100+ person global organization. Risk and Finance technology has embarked on an ambitious Risk Transformation program and as part of that we are looking for a Senior Developer who will be part of the platform development team. Senior Java Developer Candidate requirements:

• Overall 8+ years IT industry experience.
• JIRA/Confluence Proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong business partnering skills with resources across the organization in a matrix environment.
• Experience is SQL (TSQL, PL/SQL) is a must
• In-depth Experience of the RDMS (ORACLE, MS SQL), Shell Scripting, UNIX
• 8+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, SpringUI, ORM (Hibernate, Spring JDBC, JPA), JDBC, SpringBoot, Messaging Services (Kafka, JMS), AngularJS/jQuery/ExtJS/ReactJS
• Experience unit testing
• Strong knowledge of Agile
• Strong Experience in working with global delivery teams
• Strong Experience in establishing end-to-end SDLC practices and DEVOPS

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of web application development experience
• 8+ years of Java experience
• 6+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
• 5+ years of JMS (Java Message Service) experience
• 5+ years of Java Web Services experience
• 5+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot

Desired Qualifications:

• 8+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
• 5+ years of Red Hat Linux or UNIX experience
• 5+ years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)
• 4+ years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience
• 3 + years of Mongo database experience
• 2+ years of experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka and Map
• 2+ years of Apache Spark design and development experience using Scala, Java, Python or Data Frames with Resilient Distributed Datasets (RDDs)
