Job Description

Civil Structural Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Preparation & review of Structural Drawings, reports and design development.
• Cross verify the Structural drawing and give a final proof check.
• Make calculations about pressures, loads and stresses.
• Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately.
• Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
• Drawing discrepancies as per Contract document.
• Ability to review study and optimize drawings as per tender requirement.
• Liaise with professional staff such as Architects and Engineers.
• Use computer aided design technology for simulation purposes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Knowledge of technical structural analysis in the design of structures.
• An in-depth knowledge of the properties of a range of building materials
• Understand structural form to provide support to structural members.
