Job Description
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain solutions which automate the configuration, provisioning, deployment, scaling and monitoring of our SaaS platform.
Oversee automated deployments into our production and QA environments.
Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance for our applications.
Work closely with other teams (QA, software development, security) to automate workflows, release high quality and well-tested software, and troubleshoot production issues.
Contribute to the success of the organization by helping others accomplish job results, learning new skills needed by the team, and finding new ways to help the team.
Minimum Job Requirements
5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or similar role in Cloud environment
3 years experience delivering applications to production and supporting them
Experience with Dockerizing applications and Docker containers
Experience with Kubernetes architecture, clusters, services, secrets
Experience with Git, GitOps, CI/CD
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab
Experience with several of the following technologies: Kafka, Kong, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
Experience with Linux and database administration
Experience with API based architectures
Experience with security compliance
API Gateway & SSO Solution and security for Gsuite
Edge Solutions (CDN, Proxies, Routers)
Telemetry solutions (Cloudwatch, Stackdriver)
Containerization solutions (AKS, GKE)
Messaging, Cache and Streaming (EventHubs, Pub-Sub)
App engines & modernization platform (Azure App Service Environment, Anthos in GCP)
Cloud networking and VPCs
Serverless functions (Azure Functions and Google Functions)
Azure DevOps and GCP DevOps
SQL and NoSQL Services (Cosmos, BigQuery etc)
Nice to have skills
Strong experience or certifications with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (ideal)
Experience with Linux OS, scaling, security & network design/troubleshooting, Python, Bash, Ansible
Familiar with observability & alerting systems such as Stackdriver, Cloudwatch, Grafana, Prometheus
Experience implementing industry standard security best practices
Knowledge of Microservices and Cloud-Native design
Azure PAAS offerings and AZ services experience with hands on example: Azure databricks , data factory , cognitive services, bot service , cosmos , az sql , EventHub, storage, ASE, AKS etc.
GCP services and offerings experience with hands on example: Big Query, Big table , Stack driver , app engine, GKE , data store, spanner , cloud dataflow etc.
Solution Engineering: Hands on experience on solutioning services with access controls, security, networking, service foundations etc.
Hands on experience working with integrating modular services and frameworks. Integration of PAAS offerings with other on-premise services is good to have
