Software Test Engineer Network
Experience: 2-4 yrs
Job Location: Pune
Work Timings: Flexible across any shift
Must-Have Skills -
Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field
Knowledge or prior experience with Network device and/or Virtual Network Functions (VNF) onboarding and configuration
Knowledge or prior experience with ETSI based NFV platform architectures
Knowledge or prior experience with applications supporting Software-defined networking (SDN)
Knowledge or prior experience with Layer 2 thru Layer 7 Network Applications testing
Prior experience working in SAFe Agile projects
Prior experience working on Cloud based platform
ISTQB, Certified Software Testing Engineer (CSTE), or other relevant certifications
Good knowledge of test methodology and testing techniques
Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum Process.
Atleast 2-3 years experience in software testing manual or automation
Atleast 1-2 years of experience in test automation preferably Robot framework
Experience with atleast 1 Test Case and Defect Management Tool
Experience with Webservices tools like SOAP UI, POSTMAN
Experience with orchestration tools such as Jenkins and source control tools such as SVN/Git
Ability to create & review detailed test cases based of project requirements
Ability to execute test cases and in the process identify defects within the software being tested
Ability to create defects and manage defects through their lifecycle, including triaging defects with impacted teams
Good debugging and analysis skills with a hands-on approach to solving issues
Ability to function efficiently in high pressure, fast paced environments.
Ability to effectively articulate technical test challenges into automated test solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good testing acumen and attention to detail
Driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated
Prior telecom or network testing experience
