Job Description
The JobYou will be working with project teams in order to provide software delivery operations and application release management support for client projects. Your responsibilities include:
- Participating in project scoping, decision making and technical documentation.
- Building automated deployments.
- Deploying new modules, upgrades and fixes.
- Participating in development of contingency plans.
- Developing advanced CI / CD processes.
- Investigating and resolving technical issues by deploying updates/ fixes.
- Building tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve experience.
- Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
The Profile
- You possess a Degree in Computer Science and have at least 2 years experience in a DevOps role.
- Prior work in consulting domain would be highly preferred.
- Solid exposure to Continuous Integration and Delivery is required.
- You also have solid grip of scripting languages like Python.
- You have worked with distributed NoSQL systems like Kafka, Cassandra etc.
- Prior experience with public cloud services like AWS or Azure would be advantageous.
- You are a team player and can get along well with peers.
- You have strong analytical bent and can reason out and discuss solutions before implementing them.
