Job Purpose
Key Responsibilities:
Domain Roles and Responsibilities
Branding &
Promotion
To develop and execute branding and promotional strategies that helps
organization to reach students and other stake holders; Nationally and
Internationally
To develop communication materials such as catalogues, websites, brochures,
displays, pamphlets, advertisement, etc
To design and supervise brand content; ensure consistency in our branding
strategies and guidelines
To regularly monitor and manage brand strength in the community,
immediately take corrective actions if brand seen weakening
Channel Partners
To strategize channel partners tie ups i.e. appointing and evaluating channel
partners, opening of offices, etc
To prepare strategic plans for channel partners functioning including the
deliverables
To conduct SWOT analysis of appointing channel partners in particular region
To regularly travel nationally and internationally to ensure the relationship
with channel partners, parents and students is maintained
Research
To regularly research trends in education and create/modify strategies to take
advantage of opportunities; also identify new opportunities, new partners,
new community
To regularly analyze admission data to update a brand or category portfolio,
assist in determining new requirements
To conduct parents/educationist/experts/industry feedback at regular intervals
to know the strengths/weaknesses of our organization
To analyze those feedbacks and lead close loop actions to resolve weaknesses;
improve our practices
To remain thoroughly aware about other organizations outreach strategies,
and modify our strategies accordingly
Admission
Activities
To lead discussions to decide strategies for achieving admission numbers
considering all factors affecting
To clearly communicate the admission strategies to team and channel partners
To keep a close watch on admission inquires and conversion ratio
To study in depth and identify the reasons for non conversions of inquiry into
admissions and lead actions to resolve those reasons
Events/Exhibitions
To thoroughly analyze the student community and work out what kind of
promotional events that will work in a particular committee
To work out the complete stepwise plan including budget for any promotional
event to be organized
To lead the event and be responsible to resolve all road blocks in success of the
event
To always remain aware about various exhibitions/trade shows/conferences
happening all over the world pertaining to Higher Education
To conduct thorough SWOT analysis (including other higher education
institution's presence) and decide on organization's presence in such events
To lead the decisions as to what information is to be displayed at which event
and have strong follow up for its production and delivery on site
To decide branding strategies in these events in line with organization's overall
branding strategy (dress code, logo placements, etc)
Team
To plan manpower requirement of team
To interview and hire talented people for the team
To clearly delegate tasks within team members and take regular follow up
To identify said and unsaid internal team issues and resolve them
To set performance appraisal and feedback mechanism for each team member
along with HR
To plan and execute Growth & Development (career path) of the Team
Team Leader
To search best-in-class branding and promotional practices amongst world
class educational institutions and adopting best suitable practices as possible
To monitor and analyze our performance vis--vis our goals (awareness,
perception, stakeholders, etc.) and the other institutions
To remain informed about new developments in the field
To prepare budget for the team and plan the spending
To identify best resources like devices for our presentations, online facilities,
software's and implement the same
To regularly attend exhibitions/shows/ conferences as necessary; representing
the company
To clearly identify the training needs specifically for each team member and
ensure that those needs are met
