Job Description:
Extensive knowledge on COBOL, JCL, CICS,DB2,VASM in mainframe environment .
Bachelor's Degree with experience in Mainframe Software Testing
2+ years of release management/regression testing experience
2+ years background with distributed environments
2+ year experience with automated testing tools
Experience of COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCl
Worked on both Waterfall & Agile projects
Understands issues & risks in execution of Test Plan and able to take initiatives to resolve
Ability to Participate, Present, organize walk-through, end-to-end testing meetings with cross applications
Understanding of Testing methodologies and procedures
Communicate status and report test metrics & trends
Possess the know how to create governance and process around quality assurance practices
Ability to write test cases and execute testing within a web service environment
Able to communicate the process to both business and IT leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
Software Testing Certifications: Software Test Professional (CSTP Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE)
2+ years of experience in a regulated industry, either Banking/Finance
Policy, accounting and claims knowledge
Experience with QTP is strongly
