Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager/Manager, BCP and IT DR

- You should possess good hold in reporting logics for KPI s / process metric from Configuration Management perspective with a good hand in MS Excel based reporting & Power Point
- You need to have an Exposure to BCP, and IT DR framework & should be well versed with working with multiple client and account requirements
Overall purpose of role
This role requires enabling BCP and IT DR testing for different stakeholders and accounts in Genpact primary. The key responsibility is to ensure BCP and IT DR testing and provide required support for the enablement. Enabling return to office from IT standpoint for the approved accounts. Maintaining People redundancy across IT Function along with Vendor Governance. Along with this maintain IT assets related to BCP accounts and relevant documentation and trackers.
Responsibilities
- Engage with IT Operations / IT Transitions for verification of Business Continuity and IT DR Solutions
- Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity/DR/Vendor Assessment plans, policies, and procedures
- Continuously evaluate risks and mitigate and develop risk mitigation within Business Continuity/DR/Vendor Assessment Plans
- Participate in the vendor BCP and DR testing and planning and their reviews
- Act as the primary point of communication for IT DR, Vendor Assessment, and Service Assurance solutions
- Work with various stakeholders to continuously expand the scope for the DR plan for Genpact
- Engage with Vendors for their BCP and DR strategy and reviews and participate in their testing if required
- Team leadership and managing business relationships
- Facilitate the Internal audit for the BCP and DR plan for Genpact
- Work with dependent teams in case of any issues and ensuring timely resolution
- Continuously evaluate risks and mitigate and develop risk mitigation within Business Continuity and people redundancy
- Communicate and articulate various plans and procedure with Leadership and relevant teams
- Share timely update and periodically update various trackers
- Maintain and develop SOPs on work areas also able to perform RCCA
- Participate and front end the team on various IT engagements related to work from office enablement , people redundancy and communication
- Lead BCM Invokes by enabling the BCM setup at respective recovery sites during any crisis
- Participate in customer s Audits, Questionnaires and RFPs related to IT and DR
- Actively participate in Testing of Site Level Redundancies i.e. IT core protection plan
- Preferred a BC Planner with BCI, DRI or other recognized organization
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and Accounts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact at all levels
- Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve any conflicts within internal or external teams
- Maintain IT DR Policy at the Organization Level and monitor creation of BCM plans around the policy
- Lead the ISO 22301 BCM Certification from IT Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery perspective
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Information technology/Computer Science OR Graduate with technical Certification
Preferred qualifications
- Wide experience across technology including Networks, Data Center, Telecom, Virtualization, End user services, Storage, Servers, Backup devices, Load balancers, databases, DR solutions etc.
- Experience with IT processes as prescribed by ITIL methodology.
- Previous experience with vendor assessment DR testing execution and plan implementation will be an add on advantage
- Experience with developing and implementing DR strategy for business applications and IT infrastructure.
- Expertise with replication technologies, High availability solutions, BCP programs, DR solutions etc.
