Desired Candidate Profile
Lead and Direct the Team in the Development of the Test tools, drivers and new test features. Understand the Product features, use cases and develop tools to ensure the capability of testing all the features. Drive Software automation to support regression testing and ensure the reproducibility of failures Drive Innovation and Improvement with the end goal of reducing the Cost of Test. Drive data analytics and support the validation and product teams in closing all the gaps
Responsibilities:
Ensure the following functions and knowledge are supported by the group.
Assure inputs are gathered from System, Firmware and Validation teams
Assure reproducibility of all failures
Assure all necessary Hardware is supported by Software tools
Support for Debug tools and field firmware upgrade
Support for randomization of test cases, all User and admin commands
Design for Test (DFT) Review
Device/Part Knowledge, Equipment knowledge and Systems Knowledge
Ensure engineering processes and practices continually strive to meet quality expectations.
Develop and oversee the implementation of new technology. Ensure the company maintains its competitive position technically.
Maintain a high level of focus on new process technology introductions.
Drive new DFT strategies.
Education & Experience:
Any Bachelor/masters degree in Engineering with Electronics/Computer background is preferred.
Minimum of 11+ years of work experience in developing software/tools and drivers are required.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in working as software lead are required.
Should have experience on protocols like PCIe, SAS and SATA. Work experience in NVMe is preferred.
Should have experience in C, C++, SystemC and Scripting languages like Python, Tcl, etc.
Should have experience in using Agile methodology, Version Management and bug tracking tools.
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
PG: M.Tech - Any Specialization, MCA - Computers, MS/M.Sc(Science) - Any Specialization
