Experience: 5 Years experience in the same capacity/10 years as a coordinator or HOD/12 Years as a Senior Secondary Teacher in a reputed school.


Open Position: Senior Academician


Timings: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM


Eligibility:

  • The Candidate should have a Graduate in qualification and M.Ed. or B.Ed. from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate
  • A strong desire to redefine teaching standards and build tomorrow's leaders 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Candidate with good experience in CBSE school and must have a good hold on curriculum and counseling.
  • The candidate must know about the Punjabi Language.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in timetable planning, implementing effective period allocation, and monitoring the academic outcome of the same.
  • Monitoring sports and performance activities on a regular basis and planning and executing actions for improvement.
  • Interacting with all the stakeholders of the school as and when required.
  • Working closely with the Principal on a daily basis to ensure the smooth overall operations of the school, updating critical areas of concern if any.
  • Supporting staff and parent committees that function to improve the learning and social environment of the school for the students.
  • Developing rapport with the teachers and students, handling discipline issues, and filling in for the Principal as and when required.
  • Teaching classes; max eight periods in a week of their subject area.
  • Assisting in yearly teacher evaluations, providing guidance to staff and students, and encouraging a positive climate in the school.
  • Ensuring execution of systematic periodic performance reviews of every student followed by acknowledged feedback to parents/guardians.
  • Responsible for academic planning and implementation.
  • Assist in APR (Annual Progress Report) for teachers and ACR (Annual Confidential Report) for school (year-end activity).
  • Maintain the latest forms for observation/training/visits.
  • Ensure that the lab registers are being maintained and update is done regularly.
  • Support the academic clubs like eco clubs, literacy clubs, robotics clubs, etc. in the school.
  • Ensure timely update of activities on social media with the help of SMO (Social Media Optimisation) from HO.
  • Provide daily updates through CAO's Reporting Register & reporting through MIS (Google Form).
  • Update HO in any deviation from works apart from the KRA (this can be done by sending mail).
  • Any correction work related to the subject being taught by CAO/Senior Academician be checked only after the student dispersal.
  • Mandatorily induct any new teacher and give a walk through the Next Products. Arrange for training on congenial dates.
  • Inculcate a sense of belonging among the teaching and non - teaching staff. This can be achieved by conducting team-building activities on a regular basis.
  • Ensure smooth academic audit with the external team and thereafter remediation of the gray areas.
  • Check Teaching Plan & Reporting Register/Journal of all teachers on a weekly basis.

TEAM MANAGEMENT:

  • Supporting Teachers and Coordinators on the content, curriculum, modules, strategy, usage, and applicability, etc.
  • Scheduling periodic meetings with the Coordinators & Teachers, keeping the Principal informed.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • At least two classroom observations on a daily basis and CAO's observation form to be filled.
  • Ensure timely completion of the lesson plans and syllabus.
  • Student - observations, notebook correction, counseling, diary check.
  • Help the school in organizing the PTM, activities, and events.
  • Responsible for academic planning and implementation.
  • Assisting in timetable adjustment when the subject concerned teacher(s) is/are on leave.
  • Be actively involved in the Time-Table preparation and implementation, Training needs identification and alignment as per congenial dates.
  • Ensure record-keeping of teachers and student files is happening and the same is being updated in the NLP software mandatorily.
  • Assisting in admission campaign and achieving the targets.

Remuneration: CTC 6 Lac
