Job Opportunity for Tool Design Engineer (For Client)

Job Location: Coimbatore

Required Skill:

1. Jigs & Fixtures and assembly tools design & prove out.
2. Manufacturing Process & Methods
3. Cost estimation( Jigs & Fixtures)
4. Quality Equipment's & Instruments measurement
5. Drawing Methods & Procedure
6. Modelling Knowledge (Autocad ,Inventor ,Solidworks)
7. Knowledge on Machine tools
8. Packing case Design and control
9. CFT calculation for packing case
10. Knowledge on GD&T

Responsibilities:

1. Create concept for Machining, Welding,drilling ,Jigs,Fixture & Spl tools.

2. Design & drafing of Jigs,Fixtures,Spl.Tools

3. Design & execute matl handling & facilities as per the requirement

4. New Supplier Identification (New Jigs & Fixtures manufacturing source)

5. Prepare cost estimation for jigs fixtures & New development parts

6. Negotiate the price & Lead time for jigs & fixtures

7. Prepare Proposal & Capex form against Budget.

8. Raise PR for the requirements & initiate to isue P.O

9. Inspect and approve Jigs & Fixtures on receipt

10. Conduct trials and prove out the Jigs & Fixtures and regularize through put to use formats.

11. Coordinate for capitalization of Jigs & fixtures

12. Prepare and Socialize Tool verification sheet ( TVS) for proven Jigs & Fixtures.

13. Identify and maintain spares for jigs & fixtures

14. Productivity improvement( Continuous improvement)by implementing new concepts in Jigs & fixturing.

15. Introduce best practice in all process

16. Identify & Executing continuous improvement.

17. Preparation and updation of relevant process maps& Documents.

18. Participation in problem solving activity.

19. Introducing new concept and technologies in Jigs& fixtures design & Manufacturing.
