Key Result Area:
Supervising all the nurses.
Orientation for new comers.
Giving knowledge and increasing skills of nurses.
Co-ordination between consultants, staff and patients.
Handling grievance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensuring Entire Nursing Department smooth running
- Handling manpower and also in crises situation
- Comandable and getting work done with supervisors
- Interactions with Consultants & supporting them.
- Policy Implementation on Nursing staffs
- Handling Projects
- Handing / Taking over supervisory reports, at the break & beginning of every shift respectively (new admission, Critical areas, Deliveries, Surgeries, death and all incidents).
- Orientation to new comers in the culture of Apollo and also the work and working environment of the area posted.
- Check the Attendance and Punctuality in each shift for the staff under their Supervisors.
- Routine check on assignments and nursing care plan & implementation.
- Daily rounds wards and departments (personally visit all the ill patients and their relatives).
- Counter check nursing records and other related documents for completeness.
- Resist the organizing essential materials and nursing appliances stock for daily use as well as for stocking.
- Educate the staff for improvement in knowledge and skill in care.
- Create awareness and skill in the management of crises in the wards.
- Guide and motivate the staff for rendering quality nursing care to all the patients.
- Hold group discussions, inviting ideas and suggestions to improve infrastructure and work plans to add to the comfort of the patient.
- Ensure every staff under her is aware of the rules, regulations and main goal of the hospital.
- Help to maintain co-ordination and co-operation between and among all the staff.
