VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company.VAM Systems is currently looking for Global Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for our ( Abu Dhabi) UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Knowledge and Experience
Strong knowledge on cloud platforms Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Knowledge on Oracle Cloud (OCI) will be an plus.
Experience with large-scale distributed system architecture - route tables, firewalls and gateways.
Excellent understanding of typical multi-tier architectures: computing, storage, load balancers, web servers, caching and application servers.
Awareness of information and application security concepts including public key encryption, remote access, access credentials, and certificate-based authentication.
Technical Skills
Microsoft Azure:
Subscriptions, Resource Groups, VNets, Subnets, Route Tables, NSG, Transit Design
VNet Peering, IPSec VPN, Express Route, BGP, Static Routing, Application Gateway, WAF, SSL Offloading, Load Balancers, Traffic Manager, DNS, DHCP, private endpoints, service endpoints.
AWS (Amazon):
Accounts, VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, IPSec VPN, Direct Connect, Internet/NAT Gateways, BGP, Static Routing. Application Gateway, WAF, SSL Offloading, Load Balancers, Route53, DHCP, Endpoints, Endpoint Services.
Oracle Cloud (OCI):
Tenants, Compartments, VCNs, Subnets, Route Tables, Network Security Groups/Security Lists, Transit Design, Local Peering Gateways, IPSec VPN, FastConnect, Internet/NAT/Dynamic Routing Gateways, BGP, Static Routing, Load Balancers, DNS, DHCP Options, Services Gateways.
The Global Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy, and migrate systems for IaaS and PaaS, environments. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for identification and selection of appropriate cloud infrastructure services based on requirements and constraints, has deep subject matter expertise, and can evaluate new technologies for fit in current infrastructure architecture (AWS & Azure).
Build design, deploy, maintain and lead the implementation of Cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud offerings (AWS, and Microsoft Azure).
Participate in technology evaluation and reengineering to support strategy-defining and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and efficiency of infrastructure.
Document and develop in-depth knowledge of existing IT cloud infrastructure, and technology portfolio.
Develop and manage an IT cloud infrastructure capacity plan and continuous process improvement activities.
Develop, document, communicate, and enforce a cloud infrastructure standards policy.
Design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end IT cloud integrated systems from infrastructure team.
Develop and execute test plans to check IT cloud infrastructure and systems technical performance. Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement.
Adhere to change and problem management policies.
Position Requirements
Education & Certification
Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, system analysis, or a related field, with 3 years of work experience in the field of cloud computing.
Cloud Platform Architecture level certification (AWS or Microsoft Azure).
Terms and conditions
Joining time frame: (15 - 30 days)
The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems - UAE and shall be deputed to one of the Organizations in UAE.
