Key tasks:-

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.

Technologies and tools:-

Amazon Web Services: IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, Lambda, CloudFront, S3, RDS, DMS etc..
Azure cloud services: Azure Pipelines, Azure MSSQL database, Azure subscription and resource group
management, Azure AD, microsoft365 users and licenses management. PowerBI,
Azure app services, Azure function apps Azure blob storage management.
DevOps Scripting languages : Need scripting level knowledge in any of the two scripting
languages - Bash, Golang, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Ruby
System Administration: Good administration knowledge in both windows and linux
environments - Linux and Widows server
Infrastructure-as-code: Knowledge in any two configuration management tools
Ansible, Azure, Chef, CloudFormation, Docker, Puppet, Terraform, Vagrant
Version control:- GitHub, Azure Devops Repo, AWS CodeCommit
Containerizing & Clustering:
KVM, Docker, Dockerfiles, ECS, Kubernetes, Nginx, Vagrant, VMWare
CI/CD Implementation: GitLab, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, Bamboo, AWS CodePipelines
