APPLICATION SUPPORT.NET DEVELOPER JOB DESCRIPTION
Working hours: TBC
Location: Chennai, India
Years of Experience: Freshers
Summary:
The position is a part of an energetic technical team which supports our product 24/7/365 days
(rotating shift). Primary responsibility is to provide superior technical support expertise in a client
driven environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Independently interact by phone or email with customer service team in London and when
required, with the clients around the world.
Ability to trouble shoot technical challenges faced by clients involving Operating System,
Browsers, etc.
Independently manages multiple technical requests.
Monitors progress and ensures tickets updates are accurate, timely and within SLA.
Follows all applicable Best Practice and Workflow procedures.
Ensures proper documentation for cases handled and ensuring the technical knowledge
base is current and accurate.
Monitor the production application & servers for performance and stability.
Undertaking manual testing of the application when required.
Should have:
Strong communication skills, excellent spoken and written English.
Should be adaptable and a team player
Should be a fast learner and demonstrate the ability to understand the architecture/
codebase of an existing product/solution.
Should be able to document a solution/approach clearly.
Should be able to communicate and express ideas, issues and suggestions effectively.
Should have excellent trouble shooting skills and problem-solving skills.
Should be willing to works on bugs as needed.
Intermediate knowledge of using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must have:
C# .NET and ASP.NET programming
Hands on TSQL & SQL for MS SQL Server 2012 or above
Understanding of .NET Web & Windows services
Advantageous:
Knowledge in AJAX, Javascript, JQuery, IIS
