Job Description

Role Proficiency:
Perform SME role of WSUS technology to installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning, architect level of support.
Provide SME support to the WSUS environment, which interacts with the Windows server platform.
experience in install, configure and troubleshoot WSUS server setup.
Configure and Deploy patches to Windows Server
Strong hands-on experience on security and non-security patch remediation on large scale of Windows server environment through WSUS server.
Vulnerability management and remediation on Windows servers through WSUS.
Administer WSUS and Active Directory group policy, including settings and policy optimization/tuning for reliability and performance
Expert in handling Windows servers from server Administrator perspective.
Ability to maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure
Develop customized reports on the inventory of installed hardware, OS, software & patches
Owns & maintains compliance level of the environment
Create documentation on system designs, procedures, processes, and changes
Stay current with changes in hardware / software technologies
Work with vendors as needed to resolve WSUS and Operating system level issues
Communicating day-to-day activities, operational challenges, or general feedback to management through defined reports and regular meetings
What is the expectation from the candidates current role/profile
Minimum 6+ years in Windows AD, WSUS platform
Minimum 6+ years in Windows server platform knowledge
