Oracle Database Administrator @ Anlage Infotech

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience with Oracle or similar relational database technologies
• At least 12 years of Oracle DBA experience
• Must be Oracle Certified Professional
• Thorough knowledge of Oracle technology such as RAC, ODA Appliances ,Data Guard, Exadata, Goldengate, and Grid Control
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of advanced physical database design concepts like database partitioning, denormalization, buffer pool tuning, and index optimization.
• Understand the process of Data Archiving and Rehydrating.
• Understand OEM performance toolsets.
• Experience in Oracle Cloud infrastructure and conversions from Oracle to Arora.
• Understand Oracle pricing and migration paths.
• Ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff in different Countries and Time Zones
• Strong knowledge of at least one scripting language
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Packages, Stored Procedures
• Good communication skills and must work well in a team environment
• This role is a Global role & will potentially require Associate to participate in 7/24/365 on-call or shift rotation(s) which could include occasional working weekends, off hours & holidays.

• Prior experience working in a large group of DBAs
• Experience with 7 x 24 on-call rotation
• Experience upgrading databases from different versions
• Experience administering databases is Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c
