Job Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will work collaboratively across HR and the business to set the people's agenda aligned with business goals, ensuring the delivery of value-added solutions to enable business success.
At OLX, HRBP are trusted advisors to the local business unit leaders, leveraging their business understanding and HR experience to proactively coach, council and influence leaders on the people agenda and workforce planning to successfully achieve business goals and address known gaps.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and implement the People Agenda - build and maintain partnership with the local leadership team to create a business and data driven People Agenda that enables business success and fosters a high level of employee engagement and retention.
- Acts as a steward of culture and employee engagement - contribute to a culture of inclusion and belonging by supporting the attraction, retention, and development of diverse teams.
- Understand talent management, workforce capability needs and market conditions - develop a robust understanding and knowledge of key talent at the local/business level and work with leaders to ensure proper development plans are in place for these individuals.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of Global HR initiatives, provide input and insights to the Global HR functions to influence the design and delivery of global programs and processes, ensuring the business needs and expectations are heard and considered.
- Partner with leaders and employees to address and resolve complex employee relations issues maintain positive relationships with local labor unions/works councils, where appropriate.
What we are looking for:
- Preferably an MBA in Human Resources with prior 10 - 12 years of experience within HR Business Partnering
- Must have a strategic & analytical mindset, to be able to see the big picture and understand the interconnectedness of decisions and activities with the various HR functions and OLX.
- Understands the core of the OLX business, brands and business model and is able to translate this to develop a robust people agenda.
- Employment Law: maintain a thorough understanding of compliance and legal requirements based on local labor laws and ensures that OLX is fully compliant is able to identify risks and provide mitigation strategies and consult with business leaders on such strategies
- Build relationships, able to foster and maintain formal and informal relationships across OLX as well as with external sources.
- Project/Program Management, able to plan, organize and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of a specific project. Strong Microsoft Office skills including word and excel
