Candidate should have atleast 1 year of experience in medical coding -E&M/ED speciality.
Candidate should be cpc certified.
Candidate should have good knowledge of Cpt & Icd- 10.
Candidate should be comfortable with Noida location.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
Sound knowledge in ICD and CPT coding. Review the medical records, identify specific diagnoses and convert to ICD-9-CM or ICD-10-CM codes by following CMS, HHS & client specific guidelines.
Flag reports/send queries to the provider for documentation deficiency.
Certification like CPC/CIC/COC/CCS/CRC/other certification is mandatory.
Strong knowledge in Medical terminology, Anatomy, ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines
Mandatory Experience-
Certification is Mandatory (Any Coding certification-active preferred)
Minimum 1 years of HCC Medical Coding experience
Desirable Experience
Candidates should Identify, compile and code patient data, using ICD and other standard classification coding systems.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Practical experience in areas of HCC Coding.
