A Boeing team, developing the latest connectivity platform for commercial aviation fleets, is looking for an Associate Software Engineer(Java full stack)
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop software solutions that are scalable, maintainable and testable, using coding standards and best practices outlined in the project
- Understand requirement, conduct Design discussion and document design decisions
- Conduct interface discussions and create API documentation for use in the development of software solutions
- Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools.
- Develops algorithms, data and process models for use in construction of solutions
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience in object-oriented programming using Java
- Knowledge and ease in using J2EEto develop applications and fluency in creating and using REST services
- Strong knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge UI scripts and markup languages - HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with Angular 8 and above
- Experience in developing Cloud native and Hybrid applications - Azure
- Knowledge of containerization - Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI CD pipeline and technologies
- Comfortable at using git for coder repository management, concurrent development and integration
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
- Strong work ethic, communication skills & good time management with ability to work with diverse teams.
- Good understanding of Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modelling
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to work in a globally distributed team
- Working exposure with Agile (Scrum ) is a must
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in Aerospace domain
Typical Education & Experience:
- Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 to 5 years of related work experience.
A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
