JOB DESIGNATION: Quality Engineer
LOCATION: Hyderabad
THE ROLE:
The Person going to be part of client graphics NPI software validation team, it will Provide full end-to-end, graphics SW focused Client CPU/APU NPI enablement. He/she would be responsible for validating the graphics driver validation for various AMD client programs with self driven and result oriented attitude and need to collaboratively work with global teams.
THE PERSON:
Person good in technical understanding of graphics driver internals and work as a team player
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Possess fundamental knowledge in one specialized discipline.
- Responsible for quality and timeliness of result for a portion of project/process.
- Make more complex technical decisions independently.
- Implement checks and balances independently to minimize impact of mistakes.
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Good knowledge on Graphics Device drivers WHQL validation, Python based Automation Execution, 3D gaming and multimedia
- Experience with Test Automation skills like Python,C and other scripting languages
- Knowledge of Test tools such as JIRA, Jama etc.
- Strong understanding & Hands on exp. with Windows OS internals, device manager,
- Hands on with issue debugging skills, issue isolation with Windows kernel, driver module level.
- Strong understanding of PC hardware, SoC, Chipsets, Graphics cards, BIOS & VBIOS.
- Good understanding of test lifecycle, QA process & terminology.
- Strong analysis, problem solving & interpersonal skills
- Good verbal & written communication skill is must.
- Good attitude, result driven & ability to deliver on next gen technology
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor engineering degree with 2 - 4years working experience or above
- Masters engineering degree with 1-3 years of working experience
