Desired Candidate Profile
Job Title: Solution ArchitectLocation: Noida, U.P, India
Job Purpose
The Solution Architect is responsible for the development of the technology solutions and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the customer requirement. Preferably worked in Government domain and worked on RFPs, RFIs, EOIs etc.
Key accountabilities
Ability to design Enterprise level technology solution which should include Hosting of enterprise level applications, infrastructure, security etc.
Should have in depth knowledge of cloud hosting and cloud architecture.
Ability to define detailed BoM for the solution for both in-premise and cloud environment.
Knowledge of different licensing policies.
Ability to manage and build vendor engagements including OEMs, service providers etc.
Identify system, infrastructure and project inter dependencies and balance competing demands
to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
Estimate cost, and prepare business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses,
development and support.
Work with the Project Managers and Business Analysts to develop high level project schedule
resource plans for implementation projects.
Skills Required
Technical Skills
Should have experience in designing Server Virtualization Solutions on VMware, Open Source and Microsoft Hyper-V Tools.
Should have working experience in designing high availability and load balancing solutions for Operating Systems(Linux, Windows), Enterprise Database and Middleware platforms.
Should have working experience in design and deployment of SAN Storage, NAS Storage systems
Solutions.
Should have working experience in design and deployment of Server Hardware Solutions such as Blade Servers, Rackmount solutions
Preferred having experience on designing and sizing IT Infra based on Web Technologies or Middleware such as Redhat, JBoss Enterprise, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere etc.
Should have good knowledge of software licensing on Enterprise Database, Middleware Application platform, Backup/Archiving Softwares, DR Management Softwares.
Should have knowledge of Cloud Computing Infrastructure Solutions (Public, Private & Hybrid Cloud).
Preferred to have government domain experience (worked on RFP, RFI), System Design (DESN)
Specifies and designs large or complex systems. Selects appropriate design standards, methods
and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensures they are
applied effectively.
Reviews others' systems designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of
resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology.
Evaluates and undertakes impact analysis on major design options and assesses and manages
associated risks
Ensures that the system design balances functional, service quality and systems management
requirements.
Qualification (Min)
B.E./B.Tech/M.C.A. with minimum 8-13 Years of IT Experience, relevant 4 Years of experience
as Solution Architect or Technical Architect (IT Infrastructure)
Preferred - Cloud & Virtualization Certification; if any.
