Inviting applications for the role of TableauLead Developer
Responsibilities
In this role, candidate will be responsible for developing Tableau Reports. Should be able to write effective and scalable code. Improve functionality of existing Reports/systems.
Design stable, scalable code.
Identify potential improvements to the current design/processes.
Participate in multiple project discussions as a senior member of the team.
Serve as a coach/mentor for junior developers.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/ MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have prerequisites/ skills
- Relevant experience (Tableau):
- Extensively worked on BI Reporting tool: Tableau for development of reports to fulfilling the end user requirements.
- Experienced in interacting with business users to analyze the business process and requirements and transforming requirements into visualizations and reports.
- Must have strong skills and knowledge with the selection of appropriate data visualization strategies (e.g., chart types) for specific use cases. Ability to show case complete dashboard implementations that demonstrate visual best practices (e.g., color themes, visualization layout, interactivity, drill-down capabilities, filtering, etc.).
- You should be an Independent player and has experience working with senior executives.
- Able to explore options and suggest new solution and visualization techniques to the customer.
- Experience creating joins and joins with custom SQL blending data from different data sources using Tableau Desktop.
- Experience using advanced calculations using Tableau Desktop (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table, LOD Expressions.
- Experience working with relational data sources (like Oracle / SQL Server / DB2) and flat files.
- Experience in optimizing user queries and dashboard performance.
- Experience/Knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL.
- Experience/Knowledge is creating DB views and materialized view.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required.
- Should be able to document to details.
- Ability to make right graph choices, use of data blending feature, Connect to several DB technologies.
- Must stay up to date on new and coming visualization technologies
Desired Skills:
- Experience in the Financial Industry.
